What are the School hours?
School begins at 9.00 am and ends at 3.30 pm.
Where do I take my children to at the beginning of the day?
Nursery children should be taken directly to the nursery via Fern Avenue.
Key Stage 1 children should be taken to the Key Stage 1 playground where they will be met by their teachers at 9.00 am.
Key Stage 2 children should be taken to the Key Stage 2 playground where they will also be met by their teachers at 9.00 am.
Is the uniform compulsory?
Uniform in Primary Schools is not compulsory. However, when children wear the uniform they look extremely smart and it gives them a sense of belonging to the school. Click here to see what it looks like and get more details.
How much are the school dinners?
Dinners are £1.55 per day (£7.75 per week) payable in advance. Click here for more information about school dinners.
When are the School holidays?
The next school holiday is Easter. School breaks up on Friday 3rd April. Summer term begins on Monday 20th April. Click here for more information on School holidays and other important events.
Does the School provide a breakfast club?
The School breakfast club opens at 8.00am.
Does the School provide after school care?
After school care is provided by Berridge Junior School (where is it?) They pick up children from Claremont School at 3.30pm and take them to Berridge School. The after school club closes at 5.45pm. For more information call Berridge School on 0115 915 5813.
Does the School have a "Walking Bus"?
